In
my consulting projects I was often focused on process and
organizational issues that were driven by changes within the
organization or in response to external
concerns. Coaching – working
with people to clarify their focus and then to develop the capacity
to act with skill and grace in a new way – takes advantage of all of
my experience. All of the sudden every job I’ve taken, every change
I’ve made or bucked at making, provides me with the compassion and
creativity to help someone else make their own exciting and complex
discoveries.
The explorer in me has taken me to new cities, remotely traveled
areas of Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Canyon National Parks.
Along the way I’ve also worked in wide range of settings –- from
libraries, a rare book dealer, fundraising, direct mail advertising
at Wunderman and McCann Direct, and marketing and process management
at American Express – to entrepreneur, consultant and most recently
coach.

In seeking my
coaching training I looked for a program that would combine the
theoretical with the experiential, a strong methodology with
support for personal development, and all of it offered with a
sense of both rigor and compassion. I completed the professional
certification course at New Ventures West, a pre-eminent
professional training program, and became certified as an Integral
Coach in July 2006. |
Life provides
opportunities to learn in unimaginable and simple ways.
I am fortunate to share my life with my actor/video producer/director
husband and our charming daughter who are both a source of joy and
deep learning.
